Personal and Institutional Asset Management

Whether you're an individual investor looking for some help or a company in need of a professional to manage your assets, we've got you covered. Eukles Asset Management offers discretionary portfolio management services. We provide these services through the following products:

All-Cap Core Equity

Eukles Asset Management manages an all-cap value strategy for clients who wish to hold an equity position for the long term. The portfolio is invested in 30–50 stocks which we believe to be undervalued, based on our calculation of each stock’s intrinsic value. Each stock is purchased with the intent to hold it for the long-term, often many years. As a result, turnover in the portfolio is low. The goal of the All-Cap Value strategy is to outperform the equity market over a complete market cycle. The All-Cap Value portfolio universe is not constrained by market capitalization, but generally skews toward large cap companies.

Large Cap Core

The Large-Cap Core portfolio managed by Eukles Asset Management seeks to invest in companies that present a long-term value based on the firm’s preferred valuation criteria. The Large Cap Core portfolio seeks to provide a less volatile investment experience by focusing primarily on stocks with a market capitalization of more than $10 billion. The portfolio typically holds 40–60 stocks and has relatively low turnover.

Mid-Cap Core

The Eukles Asset Management Mid-Cap Core portfolio is invested primarily in stocks with market capitalizations between $3 and $10 billion. The portfolio contains 40–50 stocks that are picked based on our proprietary screening process. The Mid-Cap Core portfolio is designed for those clients who are willing and able to take the risk of investing in mid-sized companies, which is generally thought to be greater than the risk involved in large capitalization stocks. The Mid-Cap portfolio is typically more volatile than the All-Cap Value portfolio. The Mid-Cap Core portfolio seeks to outperform the S&P 400 index over a complete market cycle.

Small-Cap Value

For clients who are actively seeking a more risky and potentially more lucrative equity strategy, Eukles Asset Management offers a Small-Cap Value portfolio. The Small-Cap portfolio invests in 20–30 stocks with market capitalizations primarily under $3 billion. Due to the volatile nature of small cap stocks, as well as the level of concentration in the portfolio, the Small-Cap Value portfolio is best suited to those clients with a healthy appetite for risk.

There is no assurance that the techniques and strategies discussed are suitable for all investors or will yield positive outcomes. To determine which investment(s) may be appropriate for you, consult your financial advisor prior to investing. Stock investing involves risks including loss of principal. The prices of small and mid-cap stocks are generally more volatile than large cap stocks. Value investments can perform differently from the market as a whole. They can remain undervalued by the market for long periods of time. The S&P Midcap 400 Stock Index is an unmanaged index generally representative of the market for the stocks of mid-sized US companies. Investor's cannot invest directly in an index.
