Our Story
Eukles Asset Management derives its name from the ancient legend of Eukles (pronounced “youklees”). In the 5th century B.C., a vastly outnumbered Athenian army defeated Persian invaders at the Battle of Marathon, a small coastal town located 26 miles northeast of Athens, Greece. The victorious Athenian general sent Eukles to Athens to announce the victory. His 26 mile run is the traditional basis for today’s modern Olympic “Marathon.”
Just like the ancient Eukles of Greek legend, we at Eukles Asset Management are also “in it for the long run.”

Eukles Asset Management was founded in 2011. We are an independent registered investment advisor located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Eukles Asset Management is a discretionary asset management firm. Eukles Asset Management identifies investment opportunities using a relative value strategy with a goal of providing superior performance over the long run. We apply our strategy through three different products, including a balanced portfolio, an all-cap equity portfolio, and an equity options-enhanced strategy.
